Abby's 7th Birthday Party!

This year, we decided to have a low-key party for Abby's birthday.  Her actual birthday isn't until August 1st, but we got started early!  To kick off the party, her cousins, Brenden and Jacob stayed overnight on Friday night.  On Saturday morning, Bill made pancakes and french toast for everyone and he and the kids settled down to play with construx and built some awesome planes and towers.

Abby asked for a three layer cake this year and her daddy made sure that was exactly what she got!

Top layer: Funfetti, Middle layer: white cake, Bottom layer: chocolate...all topped with homemade frosting!

Beautiful!

Blowing up balloons!

Happy Birthday my big girl!

Oaks Park!

My cousin Carrie and I decided it was time for another excursion with the little monsters.  After our bowling trip and ice skating trip we thought that an amusement park would be just the ticket.  We loaded all the kids up and headed to Oaks Park.  The passes we got included roller skating and we tried that for a little while, but found that the park rides were a much bigger hit.

Quick pic of everyone just in case we lose one!

 Libby riding the classic carrousel.

Waiting to get on "Big Pink", which is the name of the slide.  Lol.
