Hawaii 2012...More Snorkeling!

On Sunday, we headed up to explore the North Shore and went to Tunnels Beach for more snorkeling.  As you can tell from the pictures, the water is much clearer than it was further south on the island.  It was amazing!  We got to see a lot of fish I'd never seen before.  There was a coral reef which made it very shallow in some parts and then with huge drop-off in others.  The guidebook we had said it was probably the best place on the island to snorkel and I have to agree.

 One of the drop-off areas had a class of people learning to scuba dive, which looked very cool.

 Bill's face mask was prescription, so he could see in the water without his glass.  Very cool!
