Vacation Day 4: The Royal BC Museum and The Old Spaghetti Factory!

We woke up the next morning to this. If you look close, you can see that the girls are holding hands in their sleep. Too sweet. Of course, sleeping is about the only time they're not fighting, lately.

After breakfast in our room, we headed out to the Royal BC Museum. There was so much to see and do. Even Abby loved it. She really enjoyed the hands on microscopes and the trivia video games. I think she learned a lot from them and I know that I did.

Mammoth!

This is real ice!

Crazy girls!

This was Abby's favorite part of the museum. It was all about underwater exploration and the fish and animals in the sea. She spent a lot of time looking at different things under this microscope.

Libby saw another kid in a stroller and demanded her own. She then got in and seatbelted herself there. She didn't stay for long, of course.

We had lunch in the cafe at the museum. If you can, skip it. It wasn't great and it was expensive. Since the tickets are good until 5 pm on whatever day you go, I would recommend leaving for lunch and coming back.

On to the victorian street part of the museum. It was all decorated for Christmas.

Christmas tree with some child that is not ours, but really wanted in the picture.

Our kids with the tree. On to the old west town.

That blur is Libby. Because all pictures have to be taken without a flash, there were a lot of pictures like that!

On the way back to the hotel from the museum, we passed an Old Spaghetti factory and decided to make reservations for dinner that night. Good thing, too, because even on a Wednesday night, it would have been over an hour wait to get in when we arrived at 5:45.

Headed home for the night.
