Abby loves the books about the character "Fancy Nancy", so when Bill saw that the Tualatin Library was having a Fancy Nancy Soiree, I knew that we just had to go. I took the afternoon off and picked Abby up from daycare and we went home so she could change into a fancy outfit. This is what she put together.
We got to the library and they had several stations sent out with "fancy" activities. Here is Abby making her butterfly.

All of the little girls (about 30 of them), sat down to listen while a Fancy Nancy book was read. Abby actually ran into two other girls from the daycare, which she thought was the best. We had a great time. We are definitely going to keep watch for more fun activities at the library.
