Camping at Laverne Park!

From our trip to Silver Falls, we drove straight to North Bend and spent the night at my parents' house, where I did a ton of laundry.  The next day, we reloaded and headed for Laverne park for 5 days of camping with my Aunt Kathy, Uncle David, Cousin Carrie, and her boys, Brenden and Jacob.  This is another annual trip, what we love!  Check out our pictures from last year and the year before.  It is the perfect campground during the week.  It's quiet and has a great playground and swimming hole.  Apparently, on the weekends, it gets a little rowdy, because the camp host had dealt with a little too much the weekend before we got there and quit!

The first thing the kids did was head down to the river next to the campsite.  I told Libby not to get wet.  The first thing she did was fall in a hole up to her ponytail!

Libby was a little worn out the first night.  She fell asleep with her headlamp on.

The boys talked Kathy and David into buying them a second hand game at a store in Bandon for $6.  It was called Heroscape and they talked Bill into playing  it a lot during the trip.  We looked it up when we got home and it retails on Amazon for $119.99!

 Hanging out with Gramps.

Grandma visited every day and brought Gramps with her most days.  We went swimming daily and it was a great, relaxing time.

I think we wore them out.
