After loading all of our stuff into the van (there was even more of it on the way home!), we had fast food for breakfast and headed North. We had decided to go along the coast the whole way. I'm not sure that we all knew exactly how far that would be, but we were up for an adventure.Here's Abby with her "I'd rather kiss a wookie" shirt during a pit stop.
Both girls were really good travelers. During our trip, we went through San Simeon, where the Hearst Castle is. On the grounds of the castle, we saw a heard of zebra. It was pretty amazing.
The scenery along the coast was beautiful. My pictures don't really do it justice.
Whew! We finally made it to Monterey.
