Wainscoting.

I had started to tackle the wainscoting one night, but after a couple of hours of frustration, I came home. Kricket put me into contact with a carpenter who is the boyfriend of her co-worker. He came to bid the job during the Friday I took off, and came out to do the work the following Monday. It came out fantastic, which is to say, just how I had imagined it in my head.

The wainscot starts at the break between the living and dining rooms, and covers the long, (garage,) wall and wraps around into the kitchen.

Dad had previously painted the large panels and the trim, so all I needed to do was to putty in over the fastener holes, and touch up the paint.

I ended up putting a couple 2, 3 coats of paint on the chair rail, corner/base molding, and top cap, just to ensure a nice bright white shine.

If you have some finish, (or other,) carpentry that you need done, let me know, and I'll put you into contact with Tom.
