Messy art projects!

The girls had big plans for messy art projects today, so we set them up with a table in the garage. Notice the masking tape so each has her own space? Abby got a pottery wheel for Christmas and had made a couple of new bowls a few weeks ago, but finally got to paint them. Libby didn't want to be left out, so she decided to play with play doh.

Fun was had by all and I didn't have to scrape play doh off my kitchen floor!

Acting classes!

Last session, Abby took a class at Northwest Children's Theater. This session, Libby wanted to get in on the fun too. So, on Saturday mornings, she participated in "Monkey Parade" while Abby did the ABCs of Acting. It was great! Bill and I got to have a quiet breakfast to ourselves (they now know us at the Portland Bagel shop on NW 23rd) and a grown up conversation for an hour and a half. The girls had a great time, too. They are both little hams, so they loved the classes. Their last class was this Saturday and they are looking forward to the next session which starts in a couple of weeks. Each class put on a performance for the parents on the their last day. Here is Libby waiting for hers to start.

Hi, Mommy, Daddy, and Grammy!

They were all so cute!

Libby as "Barbara Baboon".

Singing the "Hey, hey, we're the monkeys" song.

This is the second time Abby's had a class and she loved it again. She also had the same instructor and she thinks Sam is the greatest.

Funny faces!

Sam!
